photo of the day (snow in winter)
We packed all morning to head out to a Christmas Party in New Jersey. We got as far as the Rte. 7 connector in Norwalk when our friend Joe called us to tell us not to bother coming. While the first flake had yet to fall where we were, the snow in Cedar Grove was coming down at a rate of 4 inches an hour and he couldn’t see across the street. After making a stop at Borders and the grocery store, the snow was falling in earnest and the streets were covered. We slowly made our way home and decided that the best bet was simply to stay put.
So we spent a quiet afternoon and evening at home, doing what one does in a snowstorm — just making the best of it. Clare chose to revel in it outside while I prefered to watch her from inside, warm and snug and taking pictures from a bird’s eye view on the third floor.
