photo of the day
Every morning our dog Luath wakes up, comes downstairs, goes out to do his business, comes in and gets his treat. Then he heads upstairs, gets in bed with Nick and goes back to sleep.
Here they are this morning as every morning, sleeping in as long as the two of them can get away with it. But Sundays are a busy day for us and it was time to get up and go to Church.
After Church there was just enough time to get home, grab a snack and head over to Gray Friesian Farm for Clare’s vaulting lesson.
Here’s Fantom waiting to be brought into the ring to work with the girls.
Clare is really progressing and I can see that she is becoming much more sure of herself when she gets on Fantom.
She is still not thrilled with the standing thing but she does it anyway.
She did like cantoring and said it was a lot of fun (better than trotting — less bouncy.)
As always, there is a treat for Fantom after the lessons.
Then Clare heads around to check in on the rest of the horses and give them all a pat before we head home to get ready for another week. These guys are Texas and Oso.
And guess what? My turn to ride is coming on Tuesday when I have my first lesson at Gray Friesian Farm!
